STEP 1 : EXFOLIATE
- SALT SCRUBS
This method is most suited for those with tick skin , not easy irritated or for someone who suffers for ingrown hair
- DRY BODY BRUSHING
This method is suited for everyone , as long it's done regularly
This type of exfoliant is a very mild one so it's not very suited for the entire body , more so for smaller areas or very sensitive ones like the bikini or underarm
AVOID THE ONES WITH PLASTIC BEEDS ...THOSE ARE 1 OF THE MOST POLLUTING AGENTS IN THE WATER
STEP 2 : WAX
There are mainly 3 things to keep in mind when waxing :
The wax has to be applied following the natural direction off the hair growth
To ensure a good result , keep the thickness of the wax at minimum . This will ensure less trauma for the skin and less redness and irritation
The removal of the wax has to be done against the natural direction of the hair growth
STEP 3 : CARING FOR THE SKIN
HYDRATION is the MAGIC word when it comes to waxing
Hydration will help you prevent ingrown hair especially where the skin is thicker or areas of friction like bikini area.
By keeping your skin soft you will allow :
- the hair to rise to the surface and grow all at the same time
- avoid double growth .
This happens when you wax an area but some hair are still too shot and some rte ready to be removed .
One of the main causes if dehydrate skin and dead skin cells build-up that prevents the hair to rise to the surface .
